TIGER Institute holds Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for New Research Facility

NASHVILLE (TSU News Service)— The Tennessee State University’s College of Engineering, Technology and Computer Science held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday, March 26 for its TIGER Institute, a facility that many see as a vital part of cyber security, information security and STEM research.

The National Science Foundation funded the 7,600 square foot facility with a $1.2 million grant under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. The TSU Interdisciplinary Graduate Engineering Research Institute (TIGER) will be located in the Research and Sponsored Programs Building.
