University Announces New Out-Of-State Scholar Tuition Rate
NASHVILLE (TSU News Service) – Tennessee State University just made it financially easier for high-achieving out-of-state students to attend the University with the announcement of a new Scholar Tuition Rate.
The new pilot program will be available beginning with the 2012-13 academic year and will allow students who qualify to receive a discounted scholar tuition rate. Out-of-state students pay an additional fee referred to as tuition that is not assessed to in-state students. High-achieving out-of-state students may now qualify for a discounted scholar tuition rate.
RETURNING Out of state students with a 3.0 or higher GPA who enroll in 15 or more hours each term will qualify for a rate of $3,141 rather than the current “out-of-state” charge of $6,576.
NEW OUT OF STATE STUDENTS with a 21 ACT AND a 3.0 or higher GPA will also qualify for this rate if they register for 15 hours or more.
