Holloway principal hopes to rebrand school, improve image
MURFREESBORO — Though Holloway High Principal Sumatra Drayton’s path into education wasn’t the most traditional one, she’s certain it prepared her to be in the right place at the right time.
Drayton was named principal of the school in June after spending four years as an assistant at Christiana Middle. She plans to make the most of her time at Holloway, including rebranding the school to change the perception of the public and of the students she and the staff serve.
The Michigan native recently shared her thoughts on her career, Holloway’s potential and changes in education with The Daily News Journal.
