Dr. Ainsley Carry is the Vice President for Student Affairs at Auburn University. He has a joint teaching appointment in the College of Education in the Higher Education Administration program. His areas of responsibility include Campus Recreation, Office of Student Involvement, Office of Community Service, Student Media, Office of Student Conduct, Student Center, Greek Life, Medical Clinic, Leadership Programs, and Student Counseling Services. His research interests include strategic planning in higher education and leadership and management development of higher education administrators.
Dr. Carry earned his bachelors degree from the University of Florida in Food and Resource Economics. His masters degree in Counseling and doctorate in Educational Leadership are also from the University of Florida. He has served as a college administrator since 1992 working at Southern Methodist University, the University of Arkansas, the University of Florida and Temple University.
Dr. Carry is an advocate for student leadership and personal development. He has amassed an impressive body of work as a leadership educator, consultant, and strategic planner.
