Rodgers-Cromartie’s unique skill set was so attractive to NFL teams that he was snatched up with the 16th overall pick, even though he attended Tennessee State University, an FCS (previously 1-AA) football program.
Well, it’s safe to say that the Philadelphia Eagles knew exactly what they were doing when the squad shipped QB Kevin Kolb off to the Cardinals in exchange for Rodgers-Cromartie and a second-round draft pick. At this point, the Eagles look like geniuses considering Kolb has done nothing but perform terribly and sustain injury during his limited time in the desert.
