Ronald Butler Named TSU starter

From WZTV Fox17, Ronald Butler has been named the TSU starting QB.

Ronald Butler is the guy.

That’s the word from Tennessee State Coach Rod Reed.  Reed announcing that Butler will start the season at quarterback when the Tigers take the field September 1st against Bethune-Cookman in the John Merritt Classic.

And speaking of John Merritt Classic, the Tigers and Wildcats getting together today at LP Field to talk about the game.  This is the 15th edition of the classic, held to honor TSU’s winningest coach.  So you know it’s huge for Coach Rod Reed and all of Tiger Nation.

According to the Tennessean, Micheal German is back on the team but will sit out the first two games. I am glad that he met all the qualifications to be put back on the team!
