Peter Millet, Stillman’s provost and vice president for academic affairs since 2012, will serve as acting president, Rosser said.
“Dr. Millet has the full confidence of the board. He will continue the fast start that Stillman has enjoyed this fall,” Rosser said.
He said that Stillman was too early in the process of naming a permanent president to say whether Millet would be considered for that role.
